Many congratulations to our friend Prof. Georg Nagel to whom the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2026 was awarded jointly to Karl Deisseroth and Peter Hegemann "“for their discoveries concerning light-gated ion channels and optogenetics”.
Thanks to Carlo Musio, we were honored by the presence of Georg as invited lecturer at the XXX SIBPA-IVSLA School of Pure and Applied Biophysics entitled "Ion channels: Unveiling their biophysics in health and disease", Venice, 2-6 February 2026.
