Many congratulations to our friend Stefan W. Hell to whom the Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2014 was awarded jointly to Eric Betzig and William E. Moerner "for the development of super-resolved fluorescence microscopy".

Thanks to Alberto Diaspro, we were honored by the presence of Stefan as key-note speaker at the XVIII Congress of SIBPA held in Terrasini (Palermo), 17-21 September 2006.
